My wife and I are not beer drinkers but we do try one now and then in order to find one to our liking. We discovered Tequiza the other day at the grocery and found it to be very tasty. We particularly like the lime flavor the the lightness of the drink. It doesn't have the heaviness of ordinary beer but closer to a light, but non caloric (I'm sure that it's not the case) of some sodas. |

Dear Anheuser Busch,
I have been looking for my favorite beer (Tequiza) in the regular stores I usually purchased it at and have not been able to find it. I'm hoping what one store manager has told me is false, but I can't seem to find it at the usual places. He told me that you stopped making it and it would no longer be available. I'm hoping this is totally false because I love it and its hard for me to find a good beer that I enjoy. This one is truly a winner! Please advise! |

Sir/Madam,
Anheuser Busch Tequiza; my wife's favorite beer. In fact, it is one of two beers she will drink. The other is a low carb Michelob (Michelob Ultra?) Note: she LIKES Tequiza, she'll drink the other. Unfortunately, I can not find Tequiza in stores anymore. I have to assume that is wasn't a big seller, and was not cost effective to produce/distribute.
Please tell me I'm wrong. How do I get ahold of some Tequiza?

I am a big fan of Tequiza beer and have been drinking it for several years now. Lately I have been having trouble finding it and today it seems like no one has it any more. Have you quit producing it? It seems to me it was always hard to keep on shelves here at the grocery stores, walmarts etc. There must be a lot of people who enjoy this beer and its exquisite taste. Please tell me you still make it and if so why is it so hard to find here where I live. Thank you. Dan |

Call my tastes simple or whatever, but in my own opinion, I think that A-B's Tequiza is the best tasting beer ever made, bar none. I have been drinking it for many years, and will continue to drink it. For those of you here who are worried about their discontinuing it, that will never happen! It is readily available here in NOVA and there is a specific official Tequiza website, promoting the beer and with lots of neat Tequiza gifts for sale.
BTW, another brewing company "Miller" has come out with a very similar beer, "Chill" with lime & salt. It just went national this past week. It also has a neat flavor!

IDEA: See if your supermarket will order Tequiza beer from Budweiser (MFR). My girl and I love Tequiza beer - its hard to find in San Diego, CA. I would like to know if I can have Tequiza mail ordered directly to me from Budweiser. I recently hooked up with a liquor store owner and he ordered me 3 cases of Tequiza (12.0z)- Charged me $86.00 for the 3 cases. Until I find out if I can have the beer mail ordered directly to me, I will order Tequiza through the liquor store owner or supermarket. |

My wife and I love Tequiza. It is so much better than the new Chili or Bud Light Lime. I can't believe that Anheuser/Busch haven't done a better job marketing it. It's almost impossible to find. Somebody with some clout, please encourage AB to distribute more widely. I think they are missing a great sales opportunity. |

This by far the best beer ever. Over the last few years I have been successful in getting many local package stores to start carrying this product again. I have one country bar that still has it and I am working on a second one. Need to get it back in action. Maybe a sponsor and free give aways. I introduced it to several people and I have seen an increase in it. The best drink ever!!!! Never stop making this product!!! :) |

I agree with most of the folks here, that Tequiza is definitely the best, or at least it's my & my wife's favorite beer, although recently she's taken a liking to your new Michelob Ultra Tuscan Orange & Grapefruit (and I'd hafta say it might be my 2nd favorite). It's pretty readily available here in Williamsburg, but then again we do have a brewery here. I really hope you guys, or the new owners, never stop making Tequiza, as I've been drinking it ever since it first appeared on our grocery shelves a few years ago, and haven't found any other beer that even comes close to it. Miller Chill is a lousy attempt to counterfeit this great tasting refreshing beer! New owners here this, NEVER STOP MAKING THIS GREAT BEER!!! |

I can't believe AB would stop producing this product. This is truly the BEST product AB has made! I hate Budweiser...The King of Beers but I truly, honestly adore this unique & flavorful beverage. Maybe there's enough beer slobs purchasing every other product AB distributes but nothing comes close to this. I will be traveling to N.Y. this week & I'm not happy about Tequiza possibly not being available. I've been telling all of my friends this is the best beer and they should seek it out. AB, please reconsider this tragic mistake....don't you want to continue making $? You know you've got a winning product when consumers will order in bulk from a A.B.C. franchise. |

I drink a lot of beer. I'm engaged, in the middle of law school and a Dallas Cowboys fan. I have plenty of reasons to drink! Tequiza used to be my guilty pleasure just to p!ss off beer snobs but I've really come to love this quirky beer. I love the taste and the drinkibility of it. It would be a shame to discontinue. Please please please don't discontinue it or I will be forced to boycott your brand for the rest of my life! I don't want to do that so don't make me. Please give me back my little slice of heaven! I agree with the many replies that Tequiza is a very unique flavorful beer that I can no longer locate. The owner of the OBrien Country Store says he is longer able to buy through his ditributors. I checked at Bi-Mart and Fred Meyer in Grants Pass and They no longer have it. I purchased a case in November and anouther in December then was told you were going to discotinue making it. I hope that prehaps you will get enough complaints to rethink your decision and give it the same oppotunity that you give your other beers. I have never even seen the Lime beer that you are now producing ecept on this webb page. Thank you. Lynette Owley |

I have fifty years of beer drinking experience with many brands and kinds. Generally I've avoided AB products and their bottled hangovers.
Then Tequiza came along. What a great beer! I don't drink the quantities I used to but this pretty well took over the refrigerator.
Now Tequiza been discontinued. The marketing geniuses strike again. For me it's back to Miller. Rest assured my dislike of Bud Lite, Lime or no will remain intact. |

I am extremely disappointed to find out that Tequiza has been discontinued! I swished over from Miller products, and have been drinking it exclusively for the past 9 years. The wonderful and special flavor of this beer has ruined my taste for all other beers. If this is how Anheuser Busch treats its customers, then I am officially boycotting this company! Did the Tequiza brew master leave Anheuser Bush?
I would like someone to post when they discover a beer that taste like Tequiza. I have tried the new beers that have added lime and I could not enjoy the after taste. In the beverage industry they make many different products that are seasonal and regional.
Could Anheuser Busch Corp. sale the formula for Tequiza to a micro-brewery?
Could Anheuser Busch produce Tequiza for 3 months out of the year?
Could we place advance case orders? WOULD you give Tequiza marketing team another chance. |

Although I have drunk some beer before in my life, I have never really liked it or been much of a drinker. I accidentally found Tequiza a few years ago and really like it. My adult kids are amused to suddenly find beer in my frig. at all times. They rarely saw me drink one as they grew up and I never bought beer. SO I am VERY DISMAYED to hear that it is being discontinued! Very few people I mention it to have even heard of it. I think Anheuser Busch should try an advertising campaign before giving it up. Give me back my Tequiza!!! (Please!) |

I just got home from 2 hours of going around to different liquor store, convenience stores, grocery stores, Walmarts, etc. for the sole purpose of trying to buy Tequiza. I am 52 years old and have been a loyal Tequiza drinker for almost 8 years; after years of gagging over the taste of other beer. I have tried the other beers trying to mimic the taste of Tequiza and none of them come close to making me want to drink them more than once. In a climate that so many companies are trying to hang on to ever dollar they can make, its a true shame that Anheuser Busch is turning its back on the sure market dollars of Tequiza's loyal following. Rather than let this "brew" die, why don't you turn the Tequiza recipe over to a brewmaster that would like to have a ready-market of loyal buyers willing to give them their hard-earned dollars every week for years and years to come. |

I came across Tequiza almost 6 years ago and have been buying a 1/2 case every week, I stocked up on it for parties and those few friends that are really close and special occasions. Weddings etc...
I could usually find tequiza at Winco, Liquir Barn, Walmart, Payless gas station, Now I can't find it at all
I heard Hinneken bought out A B and that Tequiza might have been discontinued becuase of it.
I would rather buy Tequiza Beer then Budweiser ANY and everyday of the week! The Consumers have spoken bring back the Tequiza its better then that Miller Chill or Corona!

I believe Anheuser Busch has stopped selling Tequiza because it really didn't sell well against the major competitors. I always have the lemon-lime salt on-hand when drinking Tequiza, as it gave the beer the extra full flavored kick. ANHEUSER BUSCH: WOULD YOU PLEASE CONSIDER MAKING TEQUIZA A SEASONAL BREW? I always drink Tequiza during late Spring through mid-Autumn. It's not really a winter beer for me. It very nicely replaced margaritas in warmer weather, though. PLEASE ANHEUSER BUSCH! PLEASE BREW TEQUIZA AS A SEASONAL SUMMER BREW! |

I am so glad I am not alone in my plight to try to save my beloved Tequiza...What is wrong with you people? I too have loved it from the moment it touched my lips. I believe these silly imitations such as Bud Light Lime or that Cactus Ultra are no match for our beloved beer. I think it is the Blue Agave that gives it that fabulous taste. Lime alone just doesn't cut it. They must bring back our TEQUIZA....If they do not then Milller should copy the recipe and make it..My kids are all terribly worried about me. They know how much this means to me. I even have the blow up bottle. |

It seems like a lot of us are disappointed because you have discontinued Tequiza. I have been drinking and enjoying this wonderful beer since I discovered it in 2000. I am not a big beer drinker but this was the only beer I would buy for myself. I noticed my Tequiza was disappearing quicker than I remembered drinking it...and found my 30 year old son was sneaking mom's brew! He loved it too as did another friend. It was our favorite! We discovered Tequiza last winter while having lunch at an Aloe Vera Farm with friends. We enjoyed its distinct taste and bought it for the rest of our stay in the Rio Grande Valley. When we returned this year we immediately began to buy Tequiza again as we enjoy the flavor much more than other beers. Our son-in-law visited us this winter and asked if we could bring him some home as he enjoyed it so much. While trying to find where we could buy Tequiza we discovered it is no longer being made. We would like to join the many others asking Anheuser Busch to reconsider. Tequiza has never been available in a great supply and different times over the winter we have looked but not finding any have not bothered to purchase beer. |

I was told two years ago by a beer rep while we were in Phoenix that this beer was being discontinued. I kept getting it here in Denver and thought it must have been discontinued only in Arizona. A friend told me this week good luck finding it. I went to the two usual stores that carried it and woe is me. WHY? Look at these posts from all over the country! All the store owners concur that it sold well. I agree that Bud Light Lime, Miller Chill and Michelob Ultra Cactus Lime aren't the same. I never got a headache with Tequiza! If you are not going to bring it back, at least post the "recipe" so someone else can make money satisfying all of us addicts! |

the first time i tried tequiza on my trip to Las Vegas, i thought i was in heaven. i love the stuff. sadly, they don't have it up here in Canada. Canadians do like their beer, but the Canadian governemnet regulates it worse than our guns. it's sad to hear it's gone forever now' hopefully enough people yell at them to get it back though, and hopefully it will come up here |

I am so disappointed to find that Tequiza is no longer being bottled. I don't care for other AB products, but sure liked being able to support those gorgeous Clydesdales with my frequent Tequiza purchases! This was the only beer I'd drink all summer, and everyone I turned onto it loved it too... but finding it was always a challenge. Why, when the markets that carried it sold out of it quickly, were the shelves not kept stocked? Why, when folks in Southern California, Colorado, Nevada and Oregon went to look for it had a hard time finding it? This beer was so undermarketed, it was unbelievable! And now it's gone... my favorite beer! Please, if you sell the recipe to someone else, let me know so that I may support their ventures by buying Tequiza again. As far as the Clydesdales? Well, it was nice to support them for 8 years. |

Tequiza is my favorite beer! I can't believe AB will no longer make it. Say it isn't so! Is there another beer that is similar in taste?

like others, I wish I had the opportunity to stock up on Tequiza before it was discontinued...its amazing the variety of micro brews in the grocery stores that take up shelf space but don't seem to sell at all...Tequiza is (was very much a seasonal beer for me...served ICE cold there is nothing better during the warm summer months...then its back to Guiness in the cooler months...as others acknowledge, the new lime offerings pale in comparison to the clean Tequiza taste. AB has dropped the ball on this one...and would serve the loyal Tequiza drinkers smartly by offering it seasonally during summer months...those lucky enough to live in warm climates could then "stock up" to get through the Sept-March drought...I hope these comments do not fall on deaf ears...

My Dad, many of our friends and I are avid Tequiza fans. I really wish you guys would bring it back. Bud Light lime sucks, so we've had to change to Miller. We didn't want to but, you gave us no tasty alternative.
Our business and loyalty should be looked at by the corporation, and you should do the right thing... BRING IT BACK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

BRING BACK TEQUIZA! I've been drinking Tequiza for over 10 years. I've tried Bud lime, Michelob Lime, Land's Shark and they all do not have the same unique flavor. The Limey drinks are too limey - maybe that is why the edition of other flavors in Tequiza evened out the lime flavor. Anyhow, there must have been something going for the beer for as long as it has been out. Give it another try! |

WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHY did you discontinue the best summer beer in the world? You have got to be kidding me if you think bud light lime is anywhere near the same delicious taste. I am not a drinker but Tequiza was really good. Maybe if I add some Tequilla to the Bud Light lime... big mistake big big mistake! |

I can't beleive that you are no longer making my favorite beer (tequiza). There is nothing out there like it. The lime is just perfect to taste. I think you should reconsider making it again, there will be a lot of disappointed people out there. I know I am one of them. Please make it again, your sad tequiza beer drinker!!!!! |

I am not a beer drinker, but I fell in love with Tequiza beer about 8 years ago. During this time there has been very few stores that sell this beer. I wish AB would distribute more widely. I moved to Baltimore 4 years ago and have only been able to find it once. The store owners are under the impression that AB has stopped making it. Please prove this false. I would love to go and purchase it for my upcoming party. |

I can't believe I drank my last Tequiza without knowing it was the last one! I would have savored it more. I found it best served slightly frozen and it is the most refreshing drink of any kind on a hot summer day. Please consider bringing it back, especially as a summer seasonal drink. There is no comparison to Bud Light Lime! |

I'm a brewhead and drink a fair amount of different beers (responsibly of course!). I always liked the change of pace from heavier brews that TEQUIZA provided. It was especially refreshing during the hot summer months here in the deep south.
I am dismayed that the marketing department at A-B has decided to kill Tequiza. I guess they are kowtowing to their Belgian masters.
Bud Light Lime and Michelob Lime Cactus ARE NOT satisfactory substitutes. |
