Watney's Cream Stout hasn't been available in the US for several years. Apparently when Watney's was sold they stopped production on several lines, including this one. Shame on them! |

Never much of a beer drinker, Cream Label was the one beer I really grew to enjoy while in the USAF and stationed at RAF Mildenhall and Lakenheath in 65/66. Drank it and played darts at 'The Bird In Hand' quite a bit, and was sorely disappointed that of the Watney beers imported to the US, it was not among them. I'll take Guiness, but prefer that ol Cream Label. |

You can still buy bottles of Watneys Scotch Ale in Belgium. It still has the famous Watneys label. I've just bought some. UK company Cave Direct will import it for you quite cheaply, but it is not on their website. You have to phone them. |

Well it sounds like a never ending battle to have and hold the best cream stout turned so many people on to this stout.Tried every beer joint to no avail i guess it'll only be an memory. |

dudes, we want some of the watney's cream stout! How do we get it? We thought it was out of production and have been looking for it for 15 years. It used to be on-tap at the Chapter House in Ithaca. We would order it if we just knew where to get it! Help! Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I haven't seen the much missed Cream Label for years, if I get a craving I take a Mackeson, but I do miss the old brew! A few years ago now I went to Scotland ans purchased cans of Tennants Sweetheart Stout. and wow it was close and in 500ml cans it was such a refresher! It doesn't seem to be on the English market...it's about 2%abv; so "no call for that here", if it was over 5% and called Brain Attack I am sure we Brits would have it full supply! I want to see a revival of the weaker traditional British Brews, what ever happened to Forest Brown? Manns brown is the last bastion of this dying culture. Surely CAMERA doesn't believe that all traditional Brit Brews were over 4%abv, do they??? Google Sweetheart Stout and order some, let me know what you think. |

watneys cream label was what I was advised to drink daily by my midwife
whan I was breast feeding my son in 1975 and the taste was lovely and
my son thrived on it. I loved the taste and although was not and still am not a beer drinker I have tried to find this stout for years so thought I would try the web.Now I know it is not available anywhere which is a shame because the recipe must be somewhere!! |

I dream about Watney's Cream Stout. I will never forget it's taste. Not only was it the only thing I drank whenever I was in England but back home here the Renaissance Faire served it as well in it's ale booth and I was able to buy it at Vendome Liquors. Sadly, that all went away.
It's brewery was one of the oldest in the world and it was a crime to sell it to someone that stopped the production of this classic...hope they get bad karma. |

I still have a couple of bottles of the REAL Watney's Cream Stout, unopened of course, but don't know if it's still drinkable. I'd be willing to sell one of them. I will keep the other for ever and ever.
