I wouldn't hold your breath on this one. The only Aussie beer I've ever seen in the US is Fosters - not even VB! |

I too would love to find out where you can purchase Toohey's beer, any relation to the beer? I have no idea. I just married into the name. |

www.simplyoz.com sells Tooheys and some other beers, and ship it but it is expensive to ship and can only be shipped to some states because of laws. |

You can get Toohey's at a place called Frugal McDughal's, which is just south of Charlotte. I was there earlier this week (Jan. '10) and they had maybe 30 bottles or so. I purchased two. |

I agree with Andrea. I had a Camelot with this beer: one brief, shining moment. Next time out, the deli had been unable to get more. SAD. I don't think I'll ever feel the same about another beer. |

toohey's lover here! Our OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE has had Tooheys most of the time for the past several months. I've got a couple of distributors looking for three cases for me... no luck yet. It's my favorite beer, smooth, no after-taste, great flavor! |

I'm having a hard time believing any of this (That you found real Tooheys beer), anywhere in the US. I've been looking for it since the 70's....however, today while walking around an antique store in Hershey, PA, I found a 750ml Tooheys can with an import sticker on the can. It said imported by International Beverage Merchants, Hilliard, Ohio. I've searched for them on the internet, but no luck.....also NO LUCK with the other 2 websites mentioned above. I've been back to Sydney 4 times in the last 30 years just to drink a Tooheys. VB is a close 2nd. |

YOU guys serious? I CAN'T get Tooheys New in some major cities in OZ ,let alone the big US ,yeah you're right is a definite sweet taste that only Tooheys knows, any of you guys Aussies? Being a NSW boy ,I think the higher alchohol Budweiser isn't too bad, definetly a comprimise for our beloved TOOHEYS NEW. |
