| 1/21/2004 2:30:25 PM | gayle keller | calistoga, california | I would rate this beer very highly, but I'm coming at it from a wine lover's perspective. It has a fairly fruity and vinous flavor, with a lovely lightness on the palate given its wonderful big flavors. I don't know quite how to describe it, but the fact that the beer spends a year in Champagne and is treated as such makes it unique and certainly explains the very delicate and effervescent mouth-feel. Does anyone know who distributes this beer in northern California? Please e-mail me! |
